Stage 3- Building
For my stage 3 I have decided to start to design the building. I have made a floor plan, designed both the exterior and interior and done some drawings of the building.
Critical link
"BRAT" (Beautifully romanticised accidentally traumatised) is a store on Denmark street in London. It was created by the music artist "YUNGBLUD", I have used this for my critical link as it is a big inspiration to my hub, I found it through research for my project and it stuck with me. BRAT is a store above but under ground has a chill spot with pool tables and a small place to play music. I have taken inspiration from this which is why i've decided to have a chill spot/ cafe above and a music venue underneath. I think the whole vibe of BRAT is really cool and how it mixes a store with music.
Floor plan
This is the floor plan of the venue... I used an online software to create it. I wanted to have an idea of the layout before designing the rest of the building so making a floor plan was beneficial for me to "see the vision".
Drawings
Here are some sketches of the building/ layout. I wanted to include drawings in this stage as a progression of my design as it can help me to tweak anything I don't like and adjust it. I also enjoy the physical side of design so and wanted to include this instead of my whole project being created digitally.
Architecture building
I have used Sims4 to build my hub from scratch. I built the foundations, chose the desired colour theme and also added in clutter to make the design look more realistic and come to life.
