Stage 2

This is the stage 2 to my project...

Critical link

This is where I started to change my branding, after looking at the fruit I decided I was going to expand on that idea in design. I got pieces of black card and started to cut out different fruits like apples, oranges, watermelon, strawberries, blueberries, lemons, pears + more!

I then got these pieces of card and put them onto a scanner to scan them in and over to my laptop. After I scanned these in I opened them in Adobe Illustrator and started to adjust the sizes of them and arrange them to look like the actual fruits (some of them e.g. the strawberry have multiple pieces/ layers so I had to layer these over the top of one another to create the full fruit shape.)

After I did this I started to play about with the colours of the fruits and design them to fit my drinks.

My idea with this whole thing is that the flavors of my drinks can align with the fruits that are on the front of the label. For example, if the drink contains apple and pear, I will design the label with these fruits. I also wanted to hand make these fruits instead of creating them digitally because I wanted to add a more personal and imperfect touch that I could get with cutting out card instead of making the fruit using digital shapes.

Pattern pages...

Here I took the fruits I cut outs I'd scanned in and uploaded onto photoshop and I changed the colors of each shape to make them more recognizable fruit. After this I selected the whole shape (with the different layers stacked overtop) and started to put them into different patterned pages.
