STAGES
For my project I have decided to do street photography. I have gone on many trips around town and done various photoshoots to capture people going about their daily lives. My aim is to capture this and then put it into 5 different developments.
This is the research I did before I took and developed my own photographs. I looked into various different street photographers and their work and applied this knowledge to my own. I looked at their unique designs and used this to figure out what it is that I like about street photography.
For my stage 1, I decided to focus on colour. I tried different types of development like full coloured images, selective colour and even inverted some of the images so the colours were opposite. This page also features a critical link I made from research and a contact sheet of my unedited pictures.
For stage 2, I decided to focus on black and white street photography and specific people. In this stage I also included some shots of musicians performing and I edited them into their own development. This stage features a critical link and a contact sheet of my unedited pictures so you can the changes made.
